Im looking for a ski that can ski pow with ease, hit back country booters like no other, and dabble a little in the park... I live on the eastcoast but i go west a few weeks a year. im 5'9 160.
seths, lizzies or bacons depending on your height/weight, the scratch BC or whatever they call them now, ARVs or JPvJuliens, MSP, Prophet 100s... I'm sure there;s others i haven't thought of.
How about volkl bridge little skinnier then the rest (92 i think) so will still be better for park but still be decent in pow. Or blends would also be a good option
agreed, jj's are pretty soft for charging some all mountain while the blends are stiff enough to handle all over the mountain, but still playful enough to rip through the park and handle some serious kickers, plus jj's have the slimmer edges to save weight so rails are a no no
No necessarily true, I rode my foils 30+ days last year and they are still just as flexy as when I got them. I think it would take a lot more use to actually notice a difference.
Not sure about the stiffness of the gun, but foils are pretty soft, which is why i got a pair of 186 blends. I got the 08's for $400 shipped off twin tip nation, which is a pretty good deal. I'd go with the blend, they look like they're gonna be super sick.
