Food, especially breads and grains, will absorb the alc in your stomach, but it wont effect the levels of alc already running around in your bloodstream. Also, it can only soak up so much, so you're fucked if you've pounded a 5th of vodka no how many crumpets you munch.

eating will only slow how fast the alc gets into your blood.

The only thing that can lower your BAC level is time.

...which will lead to a lower BAC (than you would have had otherwise) as your body processes alcohol which is already in your blood.
But really, it's not gonna have much of an effect unless you have quite a bit of alcohol and not much else in your stomach, meaning you've been drinking fast and haven't eaten much for a while.

Yeah.
Milk & some carbs before drinking might help, but it can only do so much.

I beg to differ.
It's a shitload cheaper to be a lightweight.

yeah I totally agree whenever the weekend rolls around I skip dinner and drink beer instead.
I have more room to fit beer in my stomach and it hits me faster/harder. and then I go get fast food on my way back to campus and it tastes so good.
eating food may decrease your peak BAC because you are processing the alcohol at a slower rate, so although it wont reach as high of a point, it will decrease slower.

Well why don't you start off with supporting why you think eating after drinking will lower the BAC.
The only thing eating will do is soak up the alcohol in your stomach. It will not do anything to the alcohol that has already entered your bloodstream. The only thing that can lower that is time, as I said before.

yeah like everyone said, i don't think it will lower your bac. say your bac was .15 then you ate a burger. it would still be .15 and will just go down as your body metabolizes it.
probably.

i didnt mean it to come off like that, but i meant you might puke quicker, cause if i dont eat adn drink a shtilaod i find i puke more often than if i ate something. it would be legit to be a lightweight, mad cheap
