probably a noob question, but can you put, say prince strings on a head raquet?

any kind of string can go on any racquet, it doesnt matter

but if the strings have recommended string tension(i.e. 48-56) they wont go well with a racquet that has a higher tension(i.e. 55-64)

other wise, theyll go on any racquet
