Ya I'm looking for a SPK boot in a 27 or 27.5. I know I"m a noob but I've been a guest for a little while and read the thread about boot fitting. I've tried these on at my shop and they were a good fit. I'm looking for new or used. I have paypal and I've sold stuff on ebay so I"m not new to buying and selling stuff. Please throw some offers my way
Hey man i just got the Spks two nights ago on a great deal on Untracked.com 320.00 for the 07 spk boot in any size and the 07 is exactly the same as the 08 just a little more flex
O and no sales tax or shipping on those so its pretty nice
Maybe like 20 minutes max. I kind just wanted to try them on and get a feel of them but he kept telling me to walk around I know thats his job and it was my fault for not explaning what I wanted. I kind of what to not spend more than like 275 for boots this year
Ya I kind of wanted to just try them on since I had some 1080s last year. I kind got out of a true real fitting just because I didn't want to make him spend like an hour on me when I wasn't going to buy them.
Ya I know that in the threads I've read people just want them because they are for the park. I'm interested in the softness in them. The fitter told me they have roughly the same fit as my green 1080s not exact but some what. I'm not sure if thats the case but I thought I'd ask to see if anybody had some for sale. I know you seem to have a lot of knowledge of boot fitting so do you know if the 1080s and the spk have roughly the same fit? When I tired them on and walked around for awhile they felt a little snug but loosed after about 10 minutes of walking and slamming my heel on the floor. The guy said they pack out quite a bit so they would pack out to be a good fitting boot
When I recently got new boots, I had in mind that I wanted foils. I tried both on, actually just the Kaos and then the FOIL, and they were leaps and bounds better...I loved the foils! They are so comfortable and the support seemed much better than the Kaos. Overall I would just go there try on different boots and see what feels the best on your foot
Ya I've been looking at the foil it seems like a good boot and I think its an xwave shell so I know exactly what size to get. I can get the foils for 200 or the spk for 260 both brand new but I'm still kind of in the middle I'll get the spks if anyone has some for around 200
You tell him! I bought some langes comp 90's, then returned them because they were too narrow. When I went on my second mission for boots, I went in with a clear mind, saying how I'll buy what fits best. Well, the Rossi Axiums (rec. boot) fit me pretty good, then, i went to another shop and tried on the scratch boot, and it was too narrow. I went to the race shop across the street, and I tried on some X-Waves, and they fit nicer than the rossis. I looked on the shelf, and saw some Foils. I tried them on, and they fit like a glove.
I guess it just so happened a park specific boot fit my foot the best. I would have been just as content with the axium boot, if it fit as well as my foils.
Moral of the story: Buy what fits, not what you want to fit.
