so fun.. Quite a bit more stable than invaders, however they don't feel any heavier. They're such a great ski. get em!

would the 171's be good for someone like 5,9 and 150 lbs?

well they are the exact same construction as the invaders with the butterzone and all that stuff but with like 93mm waist I think

get the 178's imo, you will like the added length, esp if your mounting anywhere near center.

Eh.. 171's should be good for you, as long as you aren't still growing.

anthems are only in the middle of the ski, just like the invader

def 178's then, 171 center mounted leaves very little ski infront of you.

i was talking to someone who works at line and i am 5 7 and 120 pounds and he said 178 center would be perfect. so you should definitely go for 178's.

i was thinking i could get the 171's cause i have 171 watch lifes and they do awesome, i was hitting brecks big jumps all last year without a problem, they could have been a little more stable, but they were awesome for rails. so id think with anthems being wider and the same length, i could do the 171's, and they would be plenty stable?

Jibij has their 178's.. and elizabeths to boot.
and yeah, they're more stable. However, considerably softer than watch lifes.

yeah im debating between the 171's and 178's. i think the extra width and stability would allow you to get a smaller ski and it would still be as stable as a longer narrower park ski. im just worried about the swing weight, i havent used heavy skis in a long time, ive had the all white stl's some mip's and watch lifes and they are all about as light as you can get, and ive fallen in love with them.

i was in a shop today and looked at them, i decided im getting the 171's even though im 5'9 and 140-150, they are long enough, and ive been skiing 171's last season and i really like not having alot of ski to get in the way, and the less weight. plus everyone says how much more stable anthems are so i think im good.

get the 178's i loved them, really sick a bit stiffer than the invader because of the width but they're super stable and poppy. one of my favs for this year.

good move imo. You'd be good with a 178 if you weighed like 20-30 more lbs.. and you're used to the shorter length. Where'd you get em?

^Not that I'm aware of, but jibij is the BEST and its worth the extra $30 to me to support them over another incompetent shop.

well its worth saving the money to me because i got mine through TTN and the 10% off was more like 15% off and they have free ground shipping and give ya a free t-shirt, also their customer service was great, because my skis werent in, when they got there they sent them out next day air ya really cant beat that so their super legit and i saved money, plus some of the other programs they have that i read about on the site are pretty sick too
