I'm writing an essay and looking for inspiration, so you history buffs out there should please share your thoughts. I hope some people have read Common Sense since it is one of the most important documents ever published on American soil, and it's what this essay needs to be based upon. in the intro, Paine asserts "that the cause of America is in a great measure the cause of all mankind." If you know the book, how would you justify his assertion. which of Paine's topics and theme are relevant to the rest of the world, and are these values universal? So please, anyone with a knowledge of the text with any type of thoughts sound off.
