alrighty then. i just baught 183 07/08 stl's im about 6'1-6'2 bout 165ish pounds. i do about 100% park riding where should i get them mounted? and what would happend if i mounted beyond true center(1-3 cm)?
make sure you tell em true center and not just center cuz then theyll prolly mount them to 4frnt's center which on most ski companies thier center is lik -3 from acual true center
and yea true center will be great for 100% park riding
I rode my T-Halls at +1, and am mounting my Ar6's +3 from centre. Honestly, the only difference you notice is carving switch. It makes it alot easier to transfer edges.
i've been riding those exact skis for the past 3 seasons. definitely go with true center, especially if you'll be riding mostly park. seriously such a fun ski!
Ahhh, ohhhhhh yeah. I remember when I bought them they techa sked what skis they would be going on. Armada was supposed to send me T-Halls, but sent Ar6's instead. Maybe he was refering to T-Halls?
mount them 100% true center for park (the true center on the stl is the real true center), i bought the stl 06/07 last week in 177 and rode them today first time...super sick ski and very soft in my opinion (had the ar6 before)
I some 183 STLs for a friend of mine and the centre line was almost a centimetre forward of the measured centre. So get your shop to measure them. Even better, do it yourself and mark a line.
