REVERSE SIDECUT Ski questionn??

I just cant believe how the hell that works, basically a ski carves better either on powder or groomer if the sidecut radius is relatively small but i might buy ARG but i doubt of the quality of the ski.Seems to me like a ski were you go straight lines hitting backcountry booters and not for carving in powder like big crazy shawn mckonkey turns, am i wrong or even if the ski hasnt a regular sidecut it will go well on carving in pow and taking big turns? cause if you turn only the middle of the ski will grip the snow to make a good turn like any ski...What do you think, is it a whole different way of skiing or its like any backcountry ski like bacons???I am also wondering if any other brands than armada ARG do these type of skis. Thx guys!

ARGs are made for deep powder, where you don't have to make super sharp turns.

i believe there for smearing your turns rather than putting em on edge

heh Shawn Mcconkey. Kinda can't really understand you whatsoever, but yes, ARGs are a powder ski, and they will smear turns more than carve. Although they have normal sidecut right underfoot, which Armada claims helps groomer performance, they are a powder ski 100%.

its tough to answer your questions with the language barrier. but.
ARGs would do big long shane mcconkey style turns. he has been skiing on reverse sidecut and modified reverse sidecut skis for teh past 5 years.
Reverse camber and sidecute can turn both quick and long. you can do slow drifting turns or pivot them really quickly in trees (where i think the args really shine). However it is not carving as much as it is smearing or a slashing type action. Think of surfing for that feeling.
Other skis similar to args are old Volant Spatulas, a ski made by Praxxis i think, a ski made by Capital, you could also check out skis like the k2 pontoon
hope that helps clear shit up in your head.

The ARG's are wacky sticks. reverse sidecut, reverse camber, and then about 60 or so Cm of normal sidecut in the middle.
they arent going to be very good for the big mountain stuff that you will see guys like Nobis, Sage, and Seth do, where they need suuuper stiff and only moderately fat skis with more traditional sidecut. They arent as much for charging hard at speed as for just fluffing around in the powder at relatively slow speed, and keeping afloat in the trees and stuff.
