I was just doin the ususual butter in my house and when i nose butter i can pull my heelpiece up an inch which i think is causing alot of my switch falls. I went to my shop and they won't switch the din for me. How much do you reccomend i go up. Im at a din of 6 and i am 135 pounds 5'5.
So wait... from doing a nosepress on your carpet, you've decided you need to change your DIN setting...am I getting that right?
If so, you should probably never, ever mess with that setting, it'll be counter-productive to your safety.
Please don't deal with it. Crank your Heel Piece up a few notches. You shouldn't be able to pop out on a butter. Even if the heal piece's din is too high you're unlikely to get injured, if the toe piece din is too high that's different. Put them up until they don't move when you butter.
