Man, its just a rail jam. I would go to homecoming with my girlfriend before I went to a rail jam. Unless you're gonna make a ton of money or something.

word.
its just rails kid. how often are you gonna hit them in your life. i wish i wasn't so hardcore about skiing in high school. i could've had a lot more fun. a couple years later and skiing is...well skiing. unless you're training for a comp and its your job to ski....live your life off of the slopes as well. i'd goto homecoming. you only get a couple of those, rail jams are held all the fucking time.

I skipped my year 13 Summer Ball (equivalent of senior prom) to save money to go skiing. They weren't even on the same day so I had to sit at home knowing all my friends were there having fun :(

seriously, its not your career to ski everyday, there will be pleanty more rail jams to come, but how many homecoming dances will you get a chance to go to? not nearly as many, i'd say you're an idiot and you need to get your shit in line, you need to live your life off the slope as well as on it, try to figure shit out, make your girl happy, it'll go a long way

Go to your dance with the girl. You'll have plenty of time to ski.

Think about your girl in this situation bro. A rail jam is dope dont get my wrong, but in my opinion your being a little selfish. If you dont go to the rail jam, who are you going to let down? Cuz we all know that your letting down your girl.
But, in another perspective, if you've told her before the dance was even scheduled that you couldn't do anything on that date, then she should probably understand as well.
All i know is that i would go to the dance if i had a solid relationship with a girl that it means a lot to.
