ARTBOARD mag...& snowboarding at ALTA?

So I just picked up the Numero Uno copy of ARTBOARD mag, it's pretty baller. Anyone in the 801 should go by their local skate/board shop and score one, it's like 50% snowboarding 50% collaborative original artwork.
Anyways, there is a 2 pg WWII style art-deco peice saying "ALTA WELCOMES YOU" and the Alta logo is twisted to look like a swastika snowflake and there's a soldier w skis and a gun guarding the lift-line. Anyways, I thought it was funny coming from a snowboard mag, there is so much good terrain/snow up there, they should just allow boarders.

I just saw that today too. Sick mag for sure, I wish skiing had something like it. As far as Alta goes, it sucks I can't take my boarder friends there, the bird is getting more and more corporate yuppie style every year.

alta, deer valley, mad river glen and taos are a bunch of lameos. fuck them. when they do allow boarders, which they all will eventually, they had better give out fuckin vouchers to make up for their years of bullshit.

Yeah that mag is legit. Alta is a sick mtn, I'm sure boarders could generate more $$$ for them, but I guess Alta doesn't really care.

pretty sure ALTA is a australian board shop. had one of those mags in ski school locker room last season, with that same add. its definitly not the mountain in this case. sorry to dissapoint.

its referring to alta the resort. its a utah magazine, made and run by snowboarders who are sick of the bigotry of that resort, so they made that mock ad.
artboard is tip top. they're coming out with another issue soon, or so i believe.

all the snowboarders that want to ride alta wouldn't go back after their first day with all the traversing which would turn into boot packing to get to any real terrain.
that place would suck so much ass for anyone on a snowboard.
