dude i like nextel and samsung phones, and verizion is the best service around here but different areas have differnt amount of towers so it depends. But nextel has the two-way walkie talkie thing that is sweet if your friends have it.

no, they're just a waste of money...everyone is always incredibly obsessed with their phone at all times, playing games on it or whatever...and whenever there's a big crowd standing around and a phone rings, everyone starts grabbing for their phone and freaking out- we always make fun of that.

First off, I hate Ericsons. Second, don't get the Motorola flip phones... the antennas break too much, and they can be a hassle. The new Nokias with the color screens are hella nice. They're having a sale on them now for like 50% off, plus a $30 or something rebate, so you only end up paying like $50 or something, which really isn't too bad.

Ait, at least with me, Verizon is the best service around...


I got the Motorola T720 which is a sick phone, color screen, flip. But the battery life is kinda weak.

My boy has the new LG flip color phone and its straight outta the produce section. So sick. Get one of those phones and be the pimpest mother fucker around.


And to the people hating cell phones, you obviously don't have friends, or lives. Cell phones become necesary to set up parties and shit like that. Boyyyeeeeee.

No offense or anything, but I think cell phones are kinda a waste. I understand having one for emergencies, but just calling friends is whack. The bill is just way too much, and I definetely couldn't afford it since I don't have a job. But you guys can spend your money however you want. Don't bash me on this, its just my opinion. And it is kinda funny when there is a huge group and a phone rings.

But it's also a pain in the ass when kids you are supposed to meet don't have one and you are running late and the girls you are with are 'feeling bad about being late' and you know that it's all their fault for not having a cell phone to call them on. dude cell phones are the best thing ever.....i thought they were fucking just gay status symbols until i was forced to buy one.....i haven't had a real phone for more than two years now.....its nice if you have a bunch of roomates cuz when we used to have a house phone someone has to ansswer that shit and it's NEVER for the person who answers it. however, i don't have a 'cool' looking phone nor do i play stupid games on it all the time. my phone is just for talking on, and i can barely tell i have it in my pocket....plus i've never fucked it up skiing.....alex is right though you have to bring that shit to get in touch

yeah, if I had a cell phone last year it would have saved me a ton of trouble. I kept having to go over to another building to make a phone call then had to wait there, when if I had a cell phone, they could just call when my rides got there.

if you're having battery life trouble you probably didn't properly charge the battery when you first got it and you made your battery think it's full when it's really not.

i have the v70 and it's so light and pretty good on battery life. i take it skiing and biking, never notice it there. i dropped it a few times but it still hold up great. if you are going over and the phone company start charging you mad then a prepaid plan is a better choice. i think i would have miss out a lot of things if i never got a cell phone.

as far as service goes, nextell sucks, verizon is thebest service out there. i have more service than anybody im hangin out with tho. its funny when one person with a nextel has full service, and the person right next to them has none.hehe
