Replying to Laffy Taffy Heist

So my friend got arrested last night as an accomplice in a smith's laffy taffy heist.

He(we'll call him Jimmy) was with another kid, Andrew, and Andrew went through the smith's auto-checkout and didnt pay for some laffy taffy. My buddy Jimmy didn't help or anything, he simply didnt report it. So they get outside and theyre in the car, and the cop runs up to the car and yells for them to get out of the car and freeze with their hands in the air. The cop then PINS my friend and his brother against the car with his elbow and HANDCUFFS them, and they wouldnt let them out of the handcuffs until their parents came, which was over an hour. AND, they are thinking they will probably get like a 300 dollar fine and it on their record.

Anyone else think this is complete bullshit? HANCUFFAGE and a 300 dollar fine for watching someone steal laffy taffy and not reporting it? DAMN.
