~$400 to spend on a new quiver

Anybody want to recommend me on which skis to buy?
Since I'm not spending that much, I'd probably get an older model. I'm fairly beginner at park and can tackle basically 95% of terrain at serious mountains. I'm looking to be in the park roughly 40% of the time this season, so I need light skis which can take a beating, but also give me good stability and control on tough terrain.
I'm thinkin about a 900mm waist roughly, and definitely twin tip.
Any suggestions??

900 mm waist huh? Is this Paul Bunyan?
I recommend just getting a pair of AR6's, ARV's, PE's or Seth's.

do they make skis 3 feet wide??
Seriously though maybe the chronic blends perhaps, I'm no shop guy or anything though.

Blends look cool as well.

isn't 900mm exactly 90 cm? so... that would be one wide ass ski. it would make pollards look like a racing ski.

Ya I might end up with em this year, still looking for some old lizzies or something geared more toward powder though. Might have to settle on the chronic wide.

Find an old pair of Maden's or Seths, those skis can go anywhere.

I think today is the last day of the bluehouse sale, new skis for 250.
if not I would probably go with some armadas from last year if you can find them cheap. the graphics are different but the ski is the same right?

Nordica enforcers are a sick ski, but if you're going for an older model they're incredibly ugly. New one's are nice but sound out of your price range
Surface watch life's are super cheap and I've heard nothing but good things about them. I also hear you get free shoe laces to tighten your pant legs... that's probably just some stupid rumor though

Id say check out the Volkl Bridge for a stiffer ski, or maybe the rossignol brigade, or salomon guns for the softer side

You should look into the 06/07 Surface Watch Lifes. Jibij has them in a 171 and Mike (surface[skis]) I believe is selling a pair.
