Torn ACL!?!

HEYA so i was just wonderin about all you skiers out there that have torn you ACL cuz i know that there are a shit load of ya out there.. i was just wonderin if you super scared to hit the slopes again... i got all this sick new gear and scared i cant pull it off this seasion because of my injury and the end of last season... welp later...

just take it slow until you feel ready, than let it rip,

it took me half way through my second season after injury to let loose again.

Thats what I thought, but I actually learned alot of new shit the year after I had knee surgery, just be confident and ski how you always would. Just take it easy at first, don't really go for it until 6mo after you had surgery.

I'm getting ACL surgery in october. And I plan on skiing 4 months later during spring break.

bike ,bike bike-dont over do it to soon a good test is if you can do 5 or 6 one legged squats. once you hit the hill its all about starting slow. just remember balance is key once you start skiing use both leggs or you might blow you good one .

Figure out exactly what went wrong. In my case I got lazy and did not think enough and made a huge mistake. Once you know what went wrong prepare so you are confident you won't do the same thing again.

yea i want to ski so badly but im also really nervous to start skiing again too. im definitely going to wear my knee brace the first month i ski probably. i got my operation on april 26th i think.

I didnt even ski 1nce last year cause of tearing my ACL but I deff as shit aint scared to get back on...I'm just deff not going to shred the gnar to the max right away
