its not crazy.
the top rossi and look bindings are super not cheap.
I think it is a step in the right direction for bindings... lateral thinking gentlemen... lateral.

The Duke compared to other quality touring-capable bindings is not expensive.

Well, it's moreso the fact that it is a binding that can take the abuse of resort skiing and hold-up, that is able to convert easily to a sidecountry touring binding.

I've heard it's not spectacular as a backcountry binding, but it is perfect for a resort skier that ducks the ropes into the sidecounty. Which is a pretty big market.
