I was in Newfoundland for the past few days and it has to be the bleakest place I've ever been too. I've been there before, but I really noticed this time. We drove on a road for 250 KM without seeing a gasstation and only 2 or 3 buildings. The whole area we were driving through was tundra area, all the trees were about 4-5 feet tall and there were hardly any of them. Lots and lots of exposed rocks and small lakes. There were lots of rock mountains too. On the way back we got this cab because we had no vehicle. The cab driver was hard to understand because he had a reall thick accent (as did most of the people there). He was cool though, he let us drink beer in the cab and listen to our own music. So we watched the sun set over the bleak tundra while drinking blackhorse beer while listening to ''The best of CCR''. After it got dark the northern lights appeared, I had never seen them before and there were all green and dancing. It was pretty cool. The cab ride was definatly the best part of the trip.
