I was semi-joking, but well, here's the cult.
Been doing this for the last seven years or so. I generally don't wear socks with my regular shoes either, so it was natural to do the same on the snow.

Yeah, I think this might be a conversation between you and me until more folks register.
Get those footbed pics online! Do your friends complain about the smell?
So where's your home mountain, then? You're going to Tahoe?

oh i'm in europe most of the time, generally austria, but i live pretty far from the snow at the moment so my days are curtailed. have you been there?
also i do go to colorado and b.c. at least once a year, sometimes to the tahoe area. i'm partial to kirkwood, squaw has wicked terrain but i don't feel the 'vibe' there. but i should give it a chance again.
never been to new york (outside of nyc).

Hey dude, just got back from drinking way too much on a weekday in Munich. Had some dinner and drinks with work colleagues. Had a beer before noon, even.
So what's the deal with Squaw, are you going or not? where's your friend in Austria? I'm usually in Innsbruck or the Arlberg area, and you're right, it's sick stuff.
Pics, dude!
You go sockless in your regular shoes?
cheers

dude i love drinking. i dont know where my friend lives in austria, id have to find a postcard to find that out. anyways my current shoes are stupid nike shocks and i have to wear socks bc the inside is all fucked up and cuts up my foot. i cant even run in em i have to run in my old shocks. in middle school i had these amazing nike shoes that were so comfy it wasnt even funny. i never wore socks and i wore them for soccer workouts and practices. needless to say they were may favorite and smelliest shoe in my lifetime. woooooooooooooot.

ha, still the two of us here. we need more folks.
bit too much drinking last night, and it was wednesday. i'm on like 145 days straight without socks, i just wear hitop sneakers or my doc marten boots if i have to look more respectable. got this pair of etnies skate shoes i wore recently, way comfortable, darn they are really smelly, like you know when you're wearing them.

ha, good to hear, i'll have to check out those nikes sometime. speaking of which, i'm rocking a pair of sambas today. they're nice, ever worn those?
also, i'll have to lay off the booze for a bit. midweek booze, not always advisable.

word on the sambas. i'm rocking them today, awesome shoes, no socks of course.
when's your first ski day of the season? i'm considering going to one of the glaciers sometime in october. i better take advantage of them before they all melt. the one in germany used to have summertime skiing and riding, but it's pretty much gone now.
and as for the booze intake, yeah i'm preparing for oktoberfest. but six days of drinking out of last week is a bit much for me.
