I passed my idea dvd to my park rat freind and he just watched it and he was like "ohh the movie wasnt that nice, at the end I wanted to sleep" then I said but yo you gotta admit that the first part at mount hood and parc city was golden and he was like "yeah...but that backcountry was annoying and not nice, they were only doing little tricks like 180s and sw 360s..." and I was like wtf that movie show the biggest level of backountry riding and he was like "but they only did 180s and sw360" then I say thats revolutionnary nobody but those guys can do that in the pow and hes like" duh sw 360 is like the easiest trick ever" and then he says that he could pull it at any ttime on a jump big like in idea in the pow(he never rode pow in his entire life) and then we argue as hell and long story short he says that pep fujas isnt that good...YES, YOU HEARD ME!!!11
im just so fucking pumped I blocked him on msn and I needed to rant cause I just hate my park rats friends that prefer watch liam downey do 12 times the same rail pis penis stezze 270 than the extroardinary and revolutionnary thing that is IDEA.
I just needded to get that out.

But ill bet you Pep Andy and Eric when they made this movie were not expecting every single person in the world to agree with them on where they wanted the sport to go. Because u get the spin to win addicts watching this movie not liking the fact that thay spin nothing past a 5 all in BC.

i dont think he was hating directly on LD, maybe just as an example? i dont know though. and yeah that step up is nothing like what was done in Idea. everyone likes what they want, i just get so fucking bored of watching the JOI jump or the same rail over and fucking over again. these guys are creative.

im definatly a park rat and i think idea was awesome, the shit they are doing in the bc pretty much is park riding, the only stuff i cant stand is boring big mountain lines. though i do wish they had some more rails and stuff on helbents, that would have been awesome.

We all don't need to hate. I mean i think we need to do all aspects of skiing. To me though it is a little boring watching guys do switch threes into powder which i know is harder but powder and backcountry is more fun to do than watch. But sayin idea is bad and Pepe is no good, now that is just wrong.

Well I don't totally agree with you but I mostly do... what you have to understand about the the freeski population is that there are many people that don't have access to big mountain skiing such as my self and many other east coasters .... because of this it is harder to appreciate B.C. skiing in movies, and honestly don't get that pumped on people shredding crazy lines because I have never actually experienced such a thing. But I defineatly can appreciate the cab ones and 3's and 1's in the B.C. that is super sick
