Season passes

I just moved from Everett to Boulder, CO to go to school and I just bought a season pass. This pass gets me access to 5 mountains (breck, keystone, a basin, vail, and beaver creek) and only cost like 440, and thats not a student deal. Why are passes out in pac northwest so much more? Stevens pass was like 800 something last year. I don't get it

800??? you must have bought in november... but yaa, 5 mtn pass is wayyy cheaper, it was only 320 for me
