My knee feels really good  actually, it didn't swell up or anything.  The only thing that really hurt all day was walking in ski boots and taking my boots off.  My ankle hurt too, which kind of surprised me.  I always thought ski boots gave a lot of ankle support, but it didn't seem to help much yesterday.

I take it you went to the ski team party?  I was thinking of going, but chose to go to an outdoor film festival really baked instead.  There's also some people on the ski team I wish to never set my eyes on again in my lifetime.

yea, it was pretty sweet, and surprisingly didn't get busted. and there was actually a decent ratio, instead of the usual bozeman one.

the thing is that by the time you get to college ski racing, all the chicks are still hot (except for the huge DH/SuperG ones) and all the guys are gay. so it works out well for everyone else involved.

True, but there's just one or two people that ruin the entire thing for me.  It's kind of a buzzkill to see someone you absolutely loathe, then have to talk to them and retrain yourself from saying anything you actually mean.  I was with one gimpy racer last night and she was cool, so that was enough of the pole chasers for me.

6-12+ starting tomorrow AM thru Wednesday morning. Not huge by any means, but we'll take anything we can get to hopefully have a good Spring skiing.

It's looking like it's going to be a cold and stormy March-April in the Northeast.

Stoked on yesterday. I don't think I have ever had a bluebird pow day in Mammoth, ever. Whenever there are clouds here, the wind howls and it dumps. The night before last it snowed 3 feet. Yesterday morning there was not a cloud in the sky and it was about 35 degrees with not a hint of wind. There was nobody on the hill, and I skied deeeeeep pow from almost bell to bell. Up there with one of the best pow days of my life.

The snow is really falling right now. As excited as I am about it, I know I'm going to be plowed in tomorrow morning. Which sucks. But then I get to go play at the mountain, since I took an extra day off. It's gonna kick ass.

Yaaaah for more snow!  Yaaaaah for getting new skis from Armada because of messed up camber after 1 year!  Better be nice this weekend.  Wish I could blow off work Thursday but with a vacation coming up and a lot of work to do that just isn't feasible.

Stoked because my architecture model didn't take nearly as long as I thougt and I got to go ski this morning.  It was sunny and just above freezing, so not good in the long run but great for a couple hours!  I also skied my first dubbah blackuh since surgery, so that was extreeeeeeme.

sooooooooooo fuckin stoked!!! i got the ok to take tomorrow off and shred the pow! what what!!!! three head honchos of our firm are paying our office a visit tomorrow and it seems as though every time they come, im not here. this is so sweet i can barely contain myself. must now buy my office administrator something cool as a "thank you"
