I am SO stoked. One of my bestestest friends ever, Brooks, was down here from Alaska yesterday for work (graphic design). We hung out from 930pm until 8am, and it was sooooo fun! We got shit-faced, played pool, caught up a LOT, and discussed some really deep stuff. I miss him so much, but he might be moving to Portland, which I'd be super stoked on!!! But yeah... yay for seeing old friends.

yeah I did. I jsut didn't anything would really come of it.  I met that kid andrew years ago when Steven was doing the NextSnow All Stars thing at Steamboat.  

The reason I am stoked is that he is actually doing his own email and making his own contacts and all of that stuff you would expect a kid to do.  I spoiled him since I was suggesting/handling stuff since he was 10.   I am just stoked that it is now his thing and not mine as evidenced by that little interview.

ps: Ethan (kamikaze) called me last night to tell me he is in Portland (actually about five minutes from my house) for a week and is moving up to Govy afterwards. We have plans to hang out this week, yay!!! I haven't seen him since WSI 2005 when we smoked joints together, haha. I miss him and am stoked to see him again!

Stoked for the amazin weekend i just had in Tahoe.

-Went skiing and hit my first box. :)
-Went to mamasake in Squaw for celebrity night, and my old friend from high school JT Holmes waited on us. I bought some raffle tix and won BOTH grand prizes. $100 gift certificate to a nice dinner at a lakeside restaurant and a one night, one room suite at the squaw valley hotel. :D
-Won another raffle at the reasons, hunting yeti premier: case of red bull haha.
-Found and secured an awesome little ski lease walking distance from my families cabin. most likely dec-april.
-Got to hang out with old friends and meet new friends. My cousin Lindsay will also be living up there and working at Squaw.

STOKED, can't wait to move up there. :D

  I saw No Age play at The Church in Philly on Tuesday night, and it was riiiiiiiidiculous.  Kings of Leon on Sunday, Girl Talk next week, and Dr.Dog the 28th.....booyah. 

  Access to live music is the primary redeeming factor of the EC at this point.

UPDATE:

Sarah came over today. Very weird. She started explained how our affair (I love it when she calls it that) is unfair because in 2 weeks she leaves for Tampa, I'm free to do whatever I want, and she has to go back to her boyfriend.

I asked her very politely, "So what?"

She was less than happy so we rolled around in the bed for a bit and she left. Before she left she stated, "Oh God, I'm going to smell like your Old Spice!" (the deodorant not the cologne)

If you just read everything above and understand it, you can see that I'm clearly uninspired about this affair. While it has its moments (you know what I mean), its boring. I feel like a kid that desperately wanted a toy, got the toy, played with it for 5 minutes, and now the kid is bored. She's basically the tamagachi of my life right now. Cool idea but a huge let down.


Why is this in the Stoked Thread you ask?

Because I'm not going to let some chick get me down. Life is good.
