and i dont get why people think the jets got totally destroyed. the pats only controlled the second half, and even more so the 4th quarter. the jets were still in it before then, the game just got outa control at the end. and it doesnt help wen the fans cheer wen their startin qb limps off the field. from that point on is wen it started to go downhill. pennington was playin good until he got bent backwards and his ankle rolled on. he tried 3 times to get up and walk on it right away and ended up falling down. to get completely disrespected from the fans because he's had a tough past with injuries wen no-one in the croud could do nearly as good as he does is just stupid and very hard on a qb. its not like he fakes all his injuries, he truly wants to play but gets sacked cause his o-line blows and has 300lbs+ linemen land on him in awkward ways. dont get me wrong, i am truly a pats fan and have been for years, but i think people under-estimate their performance today.
lt is indestructable...he didnt do much today, 52 rushing yards? he did have 2 tds, one a 7 yard rush, and a 17 yard reception, but it deff wasnt the big lt from last year. the pats dont need lt, and honestly i dont think itd really help them much. maroney works well for the style of play they run
maybe score wise they were in it, but it should have been a much bigger lead for the patriots. They should have made the field goal that cassell completely botched. The jets never seemed in it the entire game, there wasn't one point where you felt the jets were really in it. The patriots offense was on right from the start. Not to mention randy moss kicked ass
I think this is the first time in a long time Moss has had a QB that really does him justice. The man can catch anything. He was a wasted talent in Oakland, he did good things for MN but I think Tom Brady and Randy Moss may be one of the better deep ball duos out there right now.
can't forget that they have stallworth too. Moss will probably get more double coverages from here on out, and that will give single coverage on stalloworth and welker. So stoked about this team, plus the red sox are leading the division. Pretty much sports nirvana here in boston
then they have watson to watch for too, good luck to the opposing defense's coming up with ways to cover our receivers, and how about the o-line, i mean brady had so much time back there, just a good time of year to be in new england
