lets see... pavement, yo la tengo, belle and sebastian, stereolab, the beat happening, the microphones, karl blau, silver jews, pregnant cheerleaders, mt. eerie, animal collective, deerhoof, broadcast, cat power, sunny day real estate, magnetic fields, little wings, little headhunter, lightning bolt, icarus syndrome... that should be a good start

i used to go to school wit the guitar player and this band played at our schools battle of the bands...

needless to say, but they slayed the entire thing.

nobody else even came close
