ok so im lookin to pick up another pair of skis. i want something that will be solid in the park but also beable to handle the mountain. i live on the east caost so i dont need something that will be great in powder but i have to at least beable to ski it. is the silencer a good ski for the price? or should i look into the fujative?
silencer is a bit better for east coast. It has more sidecut than the fujative its 80mm underfoot whereas the fujative is 85. Its a good bit stiffer too. The silencer is based on the original Public enemy.
I ride silencer and i havnt skiied them out west yet, but i will this winter. Theyr a fun park ski to just beat on, which is what i use em for and why i love em, but i wouldnt reccomend them for much else. Theyr all mountain performance isnt horrible but by no means is stellar. If your gona be in park most of the day and just want something that can handle the groomers theyr fine but if you want something that goes all over the mountain i wouldnt really recomend them.
i love mine and ive skied pow and they hold up real nice. they're also really good in the park, landing a jump just feels good on them. PE's are dope too
I'm actually confused on K2's park lineup... they seem to have three skis for two 'slots'. What are the differences between the fugative, silencer and PE and what are they specifically designed for?
