what kinda feet do you have? wide feet? narrow feet? you cant just pick a boot Pat, you should get a bootfitter to choose one for you.

the ignitions are money.

i have a set of the sparks and they are amazing. i have an 11.5 foot with very little arch and an average width and they fit great. it only took 4 days of hard riding to break them in and you can tell they are softer than most boots. with this in mind i expect them to pack out quickly but after a good 30 days on them last season they still fit perfect. they are a 70-80 flex so if you weigh as much as i do (190) you will be able to almost fold them over when you get into them but it was never an issue skiing 10 days at snowbird and brighton in them. they give when they need to in the park and provide the support i needed to lap the millicent lift all day in the powder.

for being cheaper than the ignition im not sure the ignition would be worth it.

maybe u went to a bootfitter then liked a few boots and you are trying to narrow it down, but for real, go to a bootfitter and i think you will have a lot better fit. a lot of the guys are legit if you are at a decent shop. some boots are good for wide feet, or a lot of park, or recreational, or racing... and on and on

so ya maybe a bootfitter is good- i dont think you would want to spend big bucks on a boot that doesnt fit perfect
