Macbook pro pricing?

well do you want to edit video on your computer? because the macbook doesnt have a video card. also, the monitor is bigger which would help for graphics work and whatnot. but if all you are doing is like iphoto and internet and music and movies then the macbook is a dope machine and really really portable

you have the right concepts but uhh no video card? what? you have to have a video card. yes the macbook has a video card otherwise i wouldn't be able to see what i'm typing right now. as for video editing i would definitely go with the pro just because of the upgraded ram and you wouldn't believe how much hard drive space the shit takes up. definitely don't just get a 60. but if your just using it for school/internet/whatever then i'd go with the straight macbook. thats what i've been using mine for and its been great.

I have a macbook and its fine. Im on it right now. When i bought it i thought the screen would be too small but it doesnt bother me at all now. To be honest the only reason i see to buy a pro is if your rich and dont care if you spend 2k+ on a laptop, OR if your into serious video editing and hardcore music making and stuff but ya o had a few tonight so who knows. and this took so long to edit.

to argue, i have a pro and to me it was worth the extra money.  I have never been able to really stretch it even with photoshop and like 5 programs running, i like the screen size and I even have bootcamp on it and it runs games better than my desktop on full graphics, couldnt be happier
