List of college passes and rates

Well I was going to buy an Alpine pass..not anymore.
That being said, where is everyone planning on getting passes to this year?
Boreal: $99
Kirkwood: $329 - with holiday restrictions - $249
Heavenly: $269
N*star and Sierra pass: $349 before Sept 30, after $399
Homewood: $499, after dec 1st, $599
Alpine: $849
Alpine/Homewood: $1200
Mt. Rose: ??
All these rates are for full college (if applicable) passes.
The best scenario is two passes, one for park and one for mountain, like boreal and kirkwood for example. I would get the N*star and Sierra pass if big mountain skiing isn't as important to you (there is some backcountry at sierra).
Basically I'm posing the question to where everyone is thinking of buying a pass. Kirkwood is great but is Heavenly a better option? I've never skied there but id definitely be interested. Anyways opinions, roll.

haha you could get a northstar, sierra, kirkwood, heavenly, and boreal pass for cheaper than a homewood/alpine pass. That being said I think I am goin with the b real/northstar combo park rat special bonus deal.

Heavenly has alright skiing the park is sick but 99% of the terrain is flatstar style with the only real steeps being Motts and Kilibrew. I have both Heavenly and kwood and its perfect.

I'm thinking of a Kwood and Heavenly pass.. the problem for me a lot of times is most of the kids at my school go to flatstar, so ridesharing is easy.
Any of you guys live in the Sac area?

There is the Gondola Fire area that is super sick @ Heavenly too. But it has to have a good amout of snow before it can be skiied.
You can go wrong with a Kwood and heavenly pass.

at least you (and becca) would have the entire park to yourselves...
On another note.. Big Bear passes are 269 for a SPT park, jea!

I live in Rocklin and will probably get the $289 Alpine pass if I can get away with being 18 (I turn 19 in November) and get the Northstar pass as well with a boreal college pass. If I can't get away with being 18 for Alpine I guess it will just be the Boreal/Northstar park rat special for me.
Does anyone know how the age thing works at Alpine? Will I get away with being 18 even though I turn 19 mid November?

Ha ha that's actually true...I read somewhere that less then 2% of the population has red hair, that red hair is a trait due to a recessive gene that is "diluting" out as populations intermingle. I don't remember where I read it, but apparently something like 50% of Scottish and Irish people are carriers of the red-head gene so they are the ones most likely to keep the red hair phenotype going...
That's my nerdy two cents on that

No I'm norwiegen because I find myself raping and pillaging after I drink and I don't know why.....instinct I would guess?

red hair in the irish/scots is a trait that comes from the vikings coming down from norway to rape and pillage, so maybe norwegians are carriers as well? go far enough back, celtic people were all blonde and brunette, the vikings literally bred red hair into the british isles.
So being a norwegian with red hair totally makes sense.

If i was you guys I'd buy a midweek for 450 or so. Weekends are too crowded anyways, and midweeks are usually good all week in the spring. Just my opinion.

Chilean/Scot-English
Brown hair, brown eyes too. Although my Chilean roots are probably from the far off Spaniards, no actual indian blood besides my great-grandmother. The Mexicans always give me strange looks when this American looking kid comes up and speaks to them in perfect Spanish.

Yeah, that makes perfect sense for a college pass, because it's not like I go to college during the week or anything...why didn't I think of this sooner!?
-sorry, but this whole alpine thing has left a pretty bad taste in my mouth incase you haven't noticed...

Sorry, I didn't think about school days.
I just never ride on the weekend, unless it's pow. Even then it's a backcountry day. I just can't stand crowds or lines.
