Best ski shop in NJ?

after reading that thread in ski gabber about all the screw ups I'm a little worried about the shop I'll be going to get my skis mounted at. last year I had them mounted at ski barn and after the second day of use the binding just came off. I took it back and they were able to fix it up with no problems but I just ordered a pair of bluehouse skis for 250 which no shop carries and if they fuck up the mount they can't just grab me a new pair off their racks.

what area of nj? id definitley take a look into nestors in eastern PA if youre in central nj. i used to live in parsippany and the only option i had was pelican. they sucked pretty bad so i made the trip to nestors whenever i needed something.

thanks, im in central nj, about 30 min from the shore. it would be over an hour to nestors, probably too far which is a shame because their site looks pretty cool right now. there's a pelican somewhere around here, and a ski barn, and the sport spot.

Pelican in parsippany isn't bad anymore. They were just slow getting on the freestlye/twintip scene. I just got a job there today, and it should be sick. Getting all new products in this week...i'm thinking of picking up some scratch boots myself.

just swing by the shop on a trip to blue mountain, bear creek, or big boulder. we're about half an hour from bear, 45 minutes from boulder, and 15-20 from blue, right off of 22.

aaah, I wish. I don't have a license yet and my parents hate having to go far for anything like that. when we go skiing it's always up to vt too. if I could drive I'd head out to some better shops and go skiing way more often. when my sister got her license she said she would ditch school and drive us to the mt. but of course now shes a bitch about cutting.

cool, I've been a few times and I usually like it. Do you guys mount bindings/sell px12's? if so look out for a kid with bluehouse mr's.

Not sure offhand but iknow we have a pair of scratch bindings with wide breaks sitting in the shop for like 135

Most if not all people in the shop ski but really only two of us ride twins so stop in, someone will be able to help you out.  Pm me if you want to know when ill be in
