My music sounds like its trying kill it self

k so whenever i play something with itunes or windows media player itll come out all skipping and freeze and then go again and shit sometimes...and other times itll be fine i know its not my speakers cause all other sound that comes out of it works fine and i know its not the song cause i put them on my ipod and it works fine to...so ns whats the skiers way to deal with this?

its almost like its just lagging and not playing it right...but its not that

all things and with videos itll like freeze and slow them down...then the sound will keep going and it will speed up the video to catch up to it

definitely sounds like you hard disk is fragmented.  run Disk Defragmenter overnight and see if it helps.

yeah it is its only with like players on my computer ive even tried in like vlc and stuff and the sound is just weird

but its fine everywhere online


oh and i have vista if that makes a difference?...

yes that makes a huge difference.  break your Vista cd in half and throw it out the window, then install any other operating system and your computer will start working.

yeah...well whatever i'll listen to my ipod until i get an xp disc and get rid of vista...then if it still does it i'll bring it in or something
