As much as you may dislike politics and the inherent pissing matches that come along with it, conversations concerning current political topics are an integral part of our democratic system. Therefore they should be encouraged, especially among the youth, as ensures that the democratic system will continue to have informed and educated citizens. While i am not claiming that the majority of ns is educated, i do feel that the current political climate is a very important issue to discuss and should countinue to be debated on public forums such as these, for any action otherwise would equal censorship, and ultimately erode away freedom of speech.
I totally agree. The things that people say in some threads is simply rude, and there is no reason for it. But if you look at the real world mud slinging is nothing new in politics, and i guess that has been passed on to ns. However when someone is disrespectful it does very little to prove their point, instead it simply shows how little they actually know about the subject.
