i can only afford one new ski and it is going to be used pretty much everyday. i have about $300. I have 2 pairs of rossi axial2 bindings that i could swap onto the skis. right now i have some really old beat up mike nick pro's in 171 that have coreshots and missing edge and a deteriorating tail. if i fix them up i could use them for strictly park or maybe just backyard sessions or something. I have some 04-05 skogens that are also really beat up, in a 176. they have missing edge too and they are a bit too big to use this year, and beat up. I have some 05-06 rossi sprayer bc's in a 170 that are in perfect condition pretty much. I would use them but I really honestly dont like them. contrary to what i've heard i find them stiff in the tips and heavy. yes i know swingweight only matters in tip and tail but I just don't like them. i think im going to sell them.
now for the part where i need help choosing a ski. this ski will be pretty much what i use for everything. that is pow, ripping groomers, park. i want soemthing fat that will float in pow. i want something flexible that is fun to ski on and easy to butter and jib around on. a fool around ski yet will hold its own when i'm going at a decent speed. at first i really wanted anthems because they're fat and have butter zones but are a little stiffer than invaders with the carbon ollie band. they would be great for park and just dicking around and everything but....since they're symetrical i would have to center mount them which would compromise pow performance. i don't want any tip divage here. i really dont think it will be bad if a ski is too flexible, i don't ski fast on ice for fun so yeah......i think i may get seths. i may get the 06-07 model in 169. just tell me your thoughts. thanks. sorry for the long ass post (i could've made it longer but i cut myself off).
