well mine is.....
I was at dicks sporting goods gettin my line invaders mounted the 06 ones with the threaded holes. so when he was looking at the ski hes like "are these used? it looks like they have already been mounted".... im like ya they put threaded holes in a ski...

then at the same place im ask the "Ski expert" there word not mine, and im like "ive got a pair of line invader skis, what bindings would you suggest?" he said "what brand are those now?"

haha I love bringing my skis in to get mounted and having tofight to the death with the guy about putting the bindings dead center. I brought In a pair of scratches 2 seasons ago and told the guy i want the bindings "center mount" and I come back the next day to find the bindings about 7 feet back fromcenter and the doucher tells me he thought i meant center of balance

90 is nothing. The waist doesn't do anything for you better, but it certainly doesn't hamper you if you are a competent skier. And it DOES help to have a bigger ski riding "all mountain", when you are in choppy, or uneven snow and you are trying to rip. The only time that a bigger ski isn't necessary is groomers. and groomers are only one small aspect of "all mountain."

send me a video of yourself skiing steep, icy bumps, a steep, icy groomer, and skied off woods with thin cover on prophet 90s and ill break it down and tell you every spot where youd benefit from a narrower waist. those 3 scenarios are pretty common in the east and more or less all mountain, since they avoid the more specialized areas of park, powder, and racing.

im not saying you cant ski them all over, im just saying youre doing yourself more harm than good by making it a one ski quiver. id much rather have, say, gotamas for pow, pipe cleaners for everyday, and a used, fairly short slalom race ski for hardpack/icy shitty days and for non-park skiing in general

if you have to have only one ski and you live in the east, it just makes more sense to go a little narrower in the waist- something like 80-85 in a twin. 90 is definitely fat when half the mountain half the season is snowless.

ok so im at comor and im getting my skis are being mounted and i say to the guy i want my skis mounted true center. then he says to me u mean true center between the regular mounting paint and i was like no true center in the middle of the ski. this went on for like 5 minutes and when he finally get it hes like thats going to look really wierd kid and u wont be able to ski on them but i can do that for u.

I have 93mm underfoot for the East and I love them so don't knock it til you've tried it. The width busts through crud like no other too. And I can carve down the icy steeps as well with them. So there! hahaaha
