if you're really that bothered, make sure your jacket has a pass holder when buying it. some have squares for your pass with a clear sheet of plastic over top so it can always be showing and never have to be put away.
get 3 of those metal chain pass holders, cut them, so they are about 6 inches long. put all of them on the pass, and have them all connected to a carabeener, then connect the carabeener to your pant belt loop.
there you go, now you can easily remove your pass, and not worry about it falling off. i have gone 2 seasons with this, and it works great.
the string ones are sweet, i have like a clear oen that goes on my arm, got it for 5 bucks at killington, which is amazing cause at killy it should be $67 without tax.
they break when you fall on a rail, then you get to the lift and alas, your passholder is in smashed with your pass missing. Luckily the lifty knowns you so you can go back to the park and find it
