Alright, so heres the deal; I have a pair of 171 Solomon 1080's... and a single one. Lets go over the pair first.
171 Salomon 1080 Spaceframes: Ok, these skis were my first pair of twins, and I babied these things all their life. First, condition: Topsheets are scuffed, a few small chips here and there, nothing structurally unsound. Bases on these are a bit reddish after some summer wax dyed them, but as you can see, only a few dings and scratches here and there from a rock or log. I've taken photo's of all the significant ones, but nothing that's really p-tex worthy even. Edges are a bit dull, probably need to be taken to a shop to be tuned up. No cracks or anything on them.
As for bindings, these were mounted only once for the s912Ti's that are on them. The bindings show some scuffs and scratches, but are still completely functional. They were set up for a 27.5 Salomon boot, and as you can see, are mounted a little back. Good thing is however, you can mount more to center without going close to any old holes.
Pics of the single ski mount point compared the the pair:
171 Salomon 1080 Spaceframe: So yeah, I also have another single ski. This one is in a little less great condition, since its been sitting in my garage after being used for a paddle in an experimental boat. As a consequence of that same boat, the other one is somewhere in 15 foot water off the Sand Point Yacht Club in lake Washington - its yours if you can recover it. The edges on this ski are rusted, as shown. It was mounted with the same bindings as the other ski, but even a little further back I believe. As for damage, the tops are in better condition, but the base has a major gouge right underfoot that probably needs a bit of work. No cracks or shit in the edges, just rust.
Salomon Spaceframe Poles: These poles are missing a basket on one, but other than that, are completely fine. They are about 46"/115, and overall in good condition, never bent or anything. I'm pretty sure you can ask a local shop for a end or call up Salomon, they are replaceable.
THE DEAL: Buy
all this listed above for
$200 plus shipping. It would make a great setup for someone who is just getting into skiing, someone who will outgrow their skis by next year looking for a deal, or even as a backup pair, or urban pair. The extra ski might seem kinda wack... but think of these like Atomic triplets... just from Salomon. If you break a ski, lose on in pow, or catastrophically rip out a binding, you have a backup ski at home that you can remount and continue skiing on. Its always nice to have something as a replacement. I'm open to offers on separate parts (just bindings, just poles) but would like to sell this all to one person. Separating things out will also cost you a bit more, since I want ALL of this gone and very few people just want one ski.
Also for sale,
Reef T-Shirts (Medium): Bought these off SAC, they sent me four instead of two. I'm wearing one of mine right now, very very comfy and soft. One in olive, the other in white, same design over left shoulder. The two shirts are untouched, still in packaging. I'll sell for what I bought them;
$7 each plus shipping.
Obermeyer Flexfit Hat (Small): I've given up on selling this thing, nobody has a small head. If you want it, its yours plus shipping, and if you buy something else on here, I'll toss it in for free.
Ok, thats what I've got for now. Make me offers on separate things if you wish, but again, I'd rather sell the hardgoods all together. Paypal is pretty much a must, but I'll consider other methods, if deemed legitimate. PM me with any questions or if you want details on something. Thanks!
