Check out the pics of the new ski area. Looks freakin amazing. I'm so stoked for winter now, especially since I live about 1 1/2 hrs from revy.

you wont be able to access any of that this year. and most of it you probly wont ever unless you tour in. the gondola is only going to the weather station this year if you know where that is. there is not going to be access to the top of the mountain just yet.

Oh well, if you look on the master plan it shows the a lift going up to that big ass bowl near mt. mackenzie, and it says proposed 07-08. So it'll still be sick pow/glades and whatnot, even if they won't have all of the area open.

mhmm it will deffinatly be sick but it wont be open for 07/08 i am almost 100% sure that the chairlift will not be operational for this season even though it says on the website. the gondola will for sure and it will have some sick terrain still. the 08/09 season will be the money year...

that looks like some sick terrain, I remember reading about this last year in VT b/c stowes mountain manager is working there now.

have you seen it lately dude, the station is in and it looks like it might open. I just saw it from the highway though but I think it looked like most of the towers were in.

im happy its opening, less people in golden
then when everyone will be at revelstoke, rogers pass will close due to a massive storm, everyone will be at stoke, and no one will be at the horse. this will result in no lift line and 2-100000 feet of powder
