Replying to DNA Evolution Tour some final thoughts....
To those of you who may or may not know what the DNA evolution tour is. I want to share a few words regarding this large amatuer jibbing tour. The tour for me was a great experience, it allowed me to compete head to head with sonme really high class skiers. I thought the entire idea and set up was amazing. It really took some hard work to get this tour started I'm sure just by looking at this rail set up you could see how much work went into it. I competed last weekend at the Crested Butte stop, and headed to Grand Junction this past tuesday. I expected big things when I showed up in Grand junction, however when I got there I realized that there was more than a couple of skiers and boarders. Compared to Crested Butte this turnout was unbeleivable. The night could not have been any better to showcase our preseason jibbing. Throughout the competition the skiers progressively got better, it was amazing to see it take off. Switch ups everywhere, and unthinkable 270's on and off. All in all I thought this tour was a great experience to the amatuer scene, and it was run in a very professional manner. To all of you skiers out there, I have a feeling that this is the first of a long history of this sort of competition. Best of luck to the DNA evolution tour in the future.
