****Help with freak out demo!!!

Ok so I downloaded the demo, installed it and came up with my first problem: it said "d3dx9_30.dll is not found blah blah blah". i downloaded some thing and fixed it. then the game starts, runs pretty good, but you can only see the skiers hat and skis, no body. then when you actually start playing, there is white flashes, a little stick figure in the background doing exactly what my skier is, and the skier doesn't have a body. this makes the game impossible to play. I tried downloading a program which makes your video card work better (it said to do that on the website), and it didn't do much.
I really want this to work, so you guys should help out.
And its posted here, not on the games forums, because the games forums are DEAD

oh and i also lowered the game to the very very lowest graphics settings, and i am on a laptop

for the life of me i cannot get this game to work on any computer i try and install it on. sometimes it says the download was corrupt and wont even install, other times it will install but not run, etc. any ideas?

I think it has to do with DirectX or somethnig. Google the whatever.dll

i think your computer just might not be fast enought to run the game. my laptop which is similar doesn't run it well, but it does run. i have to play it on my desktop.
