Timelaps question

i have a digital camera and was wondering how a time lapse would come out if i drove around with it on my dashboard or left it filming an intersection. would it come out any good???

and obviously i mean good as in watchable, not good as in film quality

itd probably be bouncy and shaky unless you ahve a gyro for it... i think... not sure though
