Replying to This is so pathetic

Today was the first day in my macro economics class, I am 18, by far the youngest member of my class of 12. Many of the people in it are probably 30ish range. The first question the professor asks is how many people know who your senator is? I knew and some girl and some dude knew. Then he goes how many people know who your representative is? Me, the same girl and some other dude knew this one. Then he asked, how many people vote? About 6-8 people raised their hand and said they vote. It pisses me off that people that ill informed vote and cancel out perfectly informed votes.
