I use torrents from Oink and demonoid often and azeurus is my client. i noticed that a few albums and shit were duplicated as i imported them into my itunes album/music section of my finder(mac). i deleted a few folders from my azuerus folder because they were duplicates and i didnt think i needed them because they were already saved in my itunes music library. well when i opened azeurus later on none of these torrents were seeding out to others which fucks up my share ratio. i was wondering if anyone knows of a way to have these torrents seed out from my itunes music library folder so i can still have them to listen to and seed without creating duplicate files.
iTunes shouldn't create a duplicate. Unless you consolidate your library. Then it will make a duplicate in your iTunes folder. If you can please explain this a little better.
I'm also not a big fan of azeurus. I suggest using uTorrent (http://utorrent.com).
Hook me up with an oink invite. My demonoid ratio is 3.45.
the reason they sometimes duplicate is: sometimes in the folder of the album, there is a weird file, i forget what is is but its like a playlist file, so what itunes does, is it reads all the individual songs, copys them into ur itunes, then it will read that playlist type file which tells itunes to add them again, so before u drage the folder into itunes just check the folder, you will see it it has a different extension
