anyone ever have trouble with nosebleeds and have to go to the doctor....i was just wondering how that whole cauterizing process works, i think thats what its called...i heard they take some hot thing and fry the blood vessel close to the surface....anyone ever have this done
ive never heard of that, but when i get them my dad told me to put an ice cube on my upper lip. you have to press it down, and it gets really cold and hard to keep on there, but it should stop it, or it does for me anyways.
yea i have tried that, stopping the nosebleeds isnt hard for me but my problem is is that i get them every day or every other day, and its always at the worst times
ya i have like chronic nosebleeds during the winter, it totally sucks. I haven't had it cauterized yet tho. My dad did when he was younger, he said they did it chemically and just took a little Q-tip kinda thing with some chemicals on it and spread it over the vein and it fixed it, he said he could hardly feel it so I dunno.
i've had some so bad before. Like it looks like someone has died in the bathroom. I've had to just hang my head over the toilet cause so much blood is coming out that the kleenex doesn't even do anything. Those are the best.
Word dude, i have the same problem. I got my nose cauterized last summer, it wasnt bad just some acid shit on a q-tip and the rub it on it, and you get a mean headache for an hour then its fine. But it didnt really work for me and i still get chronic nosebleeds, sucks so bad.
my nose was cauterized too and I couldn't be happier with the way it worked out. i was getting constant nosebleeds on a near daily basis at times and it was a pain in the ass so I went to the doctor and he fixed it. it doesn't take long at all. like what he said above they take some q tips and put it into an acid and rub that around your nose a bit. it burns the vein that was broken closed. I think it felt weird for the rest of the day, but it was worth it afterwards. I never get them anymore, if you can have it cauterized, do it.
my bro had his nose cauterized. they take like a solidified chemical on a stick and rub it in your nose. my bro couldnt do any sports for like 5 days and when the scab came out it was like a giant booger
i get bloody noses all the time. at least 5 out of 7 days a week. i went to my doctor about getting it cauterized and he said try this nasel spray first...shit is doing pretty good so far.
