2 thermo molding questions

i just bought a pair of nordica supercharger boots.
i was wondering if there were any disadvantages of thermo molding them.
i also noticed that the footbed was terrible. if i replaced it with a store-bought gel inson would it get messed up while i was thermo molding the boots?

screw the store bought gel insert, spend 40 bucks and get a SuperFeet insole. you'll love yourself.

hmmmm. ill consider it, but if i do end up getting the gel insole will the thermo molding mess it up?

you can take out the insole while they're heat molding the liner.

which supercharger? if its the ignition or the spark, you're more or less wasting your time heating up that liner. wear them around your house watching tv at night a few times before the season starts and the heat from your foot will do the job for you. heat molding the liner just speeds up the break in process, but in my opinion, doesnt work quite as well with most liners as just wearing the boot for a few days.
