My Road Test Is Tomorow

I have been practicing my parallel parking and I know I can do everything they want me to do. Im worried I will mess up because of me getting nervous. Any pointers or stories on what to do so I wont be too nervous. Also tips on what to do on the road test would be great too. I live in NY for the record so NY drivers help would be great. Thanks.

If your nervous about your driving test, it's because you're not comfortable doing it yet.

Give yourself some more time to get comfortable driving. I'm not saying you're a bad driver, but you should be comfortable driving.

You're nervous because it is beyond your comfort level.

When I did mine I made everything SUPER obvious. Like when I looked in the mirrors I moved my whole body and stared. And at stop signs I would stop for a good five seconds. Basically, drive slow and over exaggerate everything you do so they can see that you're not an idiot and you understand the traffic laws.. where to stop, where to yield etc. And yield doesn't mean stop unless there are cars coming, in which case definitely stop!

my test is on the 24th and i'm fucking nervous
my driving instructor told me i'm super good and i'll pass the test if i just drive but i'm so worried i'll tense up and fuck something up
also i have kind of a speeding problem, not too fast but it's fucking bitchy that you fail the test for going 5mph over the speed limit

mine is december 9th. i practiced parallel parking the other day and it was easy as shit, hopefully i won't fuck up on my test though. gonna practice a few more times so i can do that shit blindfolded. i feel really comfortable driving though, so i'm not worried about that part at all. and idk what a 3 point turn even till i heard it in here, hopefully you don't have to do that in PA hahaha.

i took mine over a year ago and barely passed haha. i took mine late though. i was almost 18 when i got my license

word, the three point turn isn't really exact. I mean, it def does not apply in all situations. I never really thought of it as an exact maneuver, more of just turning the car around in a tight spot by turning this way and that a few times. luckily my parents always wanted the car in one spot and I have a pretty weird driveway so I became used to getting the car where I want it in tight spots.
