Make sure your car is off when the person gets in, say 'hello, how are you?'. Make sure they have their belt on,(some assholes actually don't put their belt on and fail you) then start up when they tell you to and leave when they tell you to, be ready for anything, I had to parallel park 3 seconds after pulling out of the start point. At a stop sign make sure you make a complete stop BEFORE the line, not on it and then slowly pull out and when it is safe, commit. ANY time you make a move use your blinker, check your mirrors and look behind you, example: 3 point turn- Come to a complete stop with your blinker on, check the road behind you, make the turn. Blinker again, check, then go, then blinker check and go one more time. Go a bit under the speed limit, it is easy to speed when you are concentrating on all of the other things you have to know. If the speed limit changes, for example 35 to 30, make sure you are going 30 before the sign telling you to do so, and if it goes 30 to 35, go 35 after the sign. If you have a standard, they will go a bit easier on you because it is more difficult, but expect (it is not for sure) a stop-and-go on a hill without rolling back a ton. That is about all I can think of now.
