well the only square that is fixed in place is the middle one. so the color of the middle square is going to be the color of whatever side its on. thats all i know about that. learned it on the pursuit of happiness. good movie.

ya he can beat me DDR and guitar hero but rubiks cubes are easy theres like shit online to learn and you just have to practice getting to certain steps
and then learn the algorithms to finish it like for me i figure out the white side first then i get 2 rows of the other colours excluding yellow then i solve the yellow side with an algorithm and then i finish off the last row of colours with another few algorithms
its easiest to learn if you practice getting to certain points instead of just trying to solve it everytime plus somebody taught me

there's some kind of mathematical formula that's supposed to help, but i don't know it. our salutatorian solved one while giving his speech at graduation. it was awesome. i remember him doing this in under 30 seconds back in 5th grade.

ha this thread just reminded me of a kid in my hall who tried learned to solve one of these fo 2 weeks. wow, i really couldn't believe he spent 14 days on a fucking puzzle. i bet he impressed a whole party when he could do one by the end of his training though. that kis was one bad mama jamma
