Salomon equlizer????

hey guys, there is a new salomon snowboard called the equalizer and for a side cut it has three straight lines to make a  like a top of a trapezoids  shape and i was wondering if that would/could work on skis (will it be on the 09' thruster?) heres the link http://www.salomonsnowboard.com/us/  this is what they say...
