Download Fest at the Gorge yesterday

Well, i went to this yesterday and it was pretty awesome. Wondering if anyone else made it? it was at the gorge in washington, which is an amazing venue i'd never been to before- it looks out over the columbia river gorge. the first band was nada surf, who had that hit "popular" like 10 years ago. they were pretty good. then was presidents of the united states of america, which was GREAT. they played lump and peaches and dune buggy and video killed the radio star and some other great songs- their show was super high energy. incubus was next. i'm not a huge incubus fan by any stretch of the imagination, but they are pretty sweet live. then, the highlight for me was the headliner: modest mouse. they rocked it. they had two drummers, who were both pretty badass and totally in sinc with each other. there were lots of different instruments played on various songs: banjo, trumpet, accordion, upright bass. they played songs from lots of albums. it was great. if you get the chance to see modest mouse, i highly reccomend it. all in all a sick concert
