If your interested in signing a petition for more coverage on twin tips in the X games then email me at ski_twister@hotmail.com with the subject title “X Games P.” Then all I want you to type is this:
Ex. Skier/Skiboarder Joe Bob Joe_b@ho………
Skier Joe Bob Joe_b@li………...
Skiboarder Joe Bob Joe_b@ms……….
Please don’t type skiing or Skiboarding, it is more work for me to do if you type that rather than skier or Skiboarder. Please type your sport, name and email address the way I showed you and NOT like this
Ex: Skier/Skiboarder

Dear EXPN:
Over the past few years you have been changing your events which you show in the Winter X games, many people are upset with this and would like to find out some answers or reasons behind your decisions. A couple of years ago you added Skiboarding to your list of events and had a time slot set up for it. After two years you had stopped airing Skiboarding on the x games, you also show few skiing events with very little airtime. This recent year you added moto X to your roster of events and showed all off the riders and all of their jumps. With snowboarding, you have more events and more airtime. We can understand that snowboarding is a very large and popular sport and it needs more coverage, but you spread the time slots out unequally between the different events. Such events like snowboarding big air, snowboarding slope-style, snowboarding half pipe, moto X, and moto big air get much more air time compared to the 5 minutes that you gave Skiboarding each year. The 2 hours you gave skiing this year was an attempt, however there were still to many advertisements within the time slot. I thought the X game was about extreme sports and athletes showing what they do best. Skiing and Skiboarding has come a long way over the past few years and it keeps getting more technical and advanced. This year alone there was a large increase of twin tip riders on the slopes and at the summer camps. Please note that in the beginning snowboarding was a very small sport, but with the right coverage it has grown and grown in to an enormous sport worldwide. Both skiing and Skiboarding have the potential to be a big success with the right coverage. We, the riders, feel that our sports have been portrayed wrongly. All we ask is that you take into consideration that there are many riders, like us, wishing to see more coverage of our sports progressing, and being represented the way they should be represented. We would like to see more twin tip competitions like halfpipe, slopestyle, and big air and less competitions like skier cross. Riders should have the choice to choose the equipment they like to compete with. They should have the choice to ride on short twin tips or long twin tips, and they should be able to choose to compete with poles or no poles.
I have spoken to many other skiers across the country via the Internet, and we would all like to thank you for the opportunity to voice our opinion. We hope that this will help make the decisions easier when it comes to setting up your time slots for the twin tip aspect of your competition
Sincerely,
Riders dedicated to making a difference.
