Steppin on glass

say you were taking your trash out and you dropped a corona bottle on the ground and it broke and you stepped on some glass on your heel. But the piece is so small you cant see it but you can feel it when you put pressure on it, what do i do.

tweezers or its gonna get infected and youre eventually gonna have to cut your foot off

probably go to the doctor then if all else fails. my cousin has had this almost exact same thing with glass in him

you could sanitize a blade and dig a little and you'll get it out. clean a little knife or razor with alcohol and then hold it in an open flame and then clean it again. it should be pretty sterile after that. make a little cut and let it bleed just a few seconds. you'll get it out if you really want to. just wash your hands and clean it up good afterward and it'll be all smooth sailing.

your body will push it out, but it might get infected because it was in the trash

Let it heal a day just to make sure there isn't glass in it anymore and that it just hurts because it's cut. Then cut it out.

Ive had a small piece of glass from a 1985 f 350, that my friend rolled in the woods, stuck in my finger still and it was a while ago no infenctions it just really hurts if somthing pokes my finger the wrong way, its kinda wierd, so if its not that bad you could leave it in there i would say.

I got a splinter in my heel, I grabbed some tweezers and a needle, sterilize the needle by holding it over a flame for awhile and soaping it too, then pick away until you find it. if it gets red and crusty it's infected and you should probably go to a doctor. just poke and prod for a bit, it's weird at first but then it's no big deal. clean it afterwards and maybe put a band aid on it for awhile to make sure it stays clean if it's deep.
